1. At page 19 in SR 3.07.3 para 3d is revised to be read as under:-
The Inner Distant Signal shall generally be located 1000 meters in rear of the first stop signal and the Distant signal 2000 meters in rear of the first stop signal. Under this arrangement provision of a Warning Board is eliminated. The aspect sequence chart, in case of Double Distant signal is given below:-
2. New SR 3.17.1 is added below GR 3.17 at page 36 and to be read as under:
S.R.3.17-1 When a gate Stop signal is a Semi-Automatic Stop signal and protects points in addition to the level crossing it shall be provided with white illuminated letter 'A' and white illuminated letters 'AG against black back ground.
The indication of such signal shall be as under-
(a) Letter 'A' shall be lit only when the gates are closed and locked against road traffic and points are correctly set and locked for the route.
(b) Letter 'AG' shall be lit only when the gates are either open to road traffic or have failed but points are correctly set and locked for the route.
(c) Neither marker shall be lit when the points are not correctly set and locked for the route or have failed.
3. At page 237 GR 8.03(2) (b) is revised and to be read as under:-
(b) all necessary signals have been put back to 'on' behind the said train;
4. SR 4.19.2 at page 122 is revised and to be read as under:-
SR 4.19.2 Brake Van Equipment: Brake Van of all Coaching Trains shall be provided with following equipment
5. SR 4.10.3(ii) at page 106 issued vide Amendment slip no.34 is revised and to be read as under:-
(ii) No separate temporary panel is needed and free home signal should be made available during NI.
In addition free starter signal can be provided as per site feasibility & operational requirement. (Ref: Rly.Bd's Letter No 2020/Safety (A&R)/19/07 dated 23.12.2022.)
6. Amendment slip no.15 is DELETED and SR 4.19.3(a) and (b) issued vide Amendment slip no. 05 at page 122 is Revised and to b vised and to be read as under:
SR 4.19.3 Loco Pilot's personal stores:
(a) In addition to items given in GR 4.19, a Loco Pilot must also be in possession of the following-
(i) Rule books (either hard copy or soft copy) complete and up-to-date such portion thereof as relevant to his duties.
(ii) 10 Detonators in a case,
( iii) 2 hand signal lamps of approved design.
(iv) 2 red and 1 green flags mounted on sticks,
(v) Key for resetting ACP valve for air braked passenger carrying coaches.
(vi) One spare Hend light and cab light bulb,
(vii) One LED based Tri-Colour flashing hand signal lamp,
(viii) Trouble shooting guide (for Diesel Loco Pilots only) and Trouble shooting directory or operating manual for AC Loco Pilots,
(ix) Speed calculator (if provided under special instructions),
(x) A light weight compact portable telephone to all Loco Pilots working in electrified section,
(b) Each Assistant Loco Pilot shall have following items alongwith a handy bag.
(1) Tri-colour Torch
(ii) Red & Green Flag
(iii) Working Time Table
(iv) Assistant Loco Pilots memo book (T.245-B/Rev. 88)
