All Communication Failure on Double line (SR 6.02 –3)
1.
In the event of total interruption of communication (TIC) occurring between two
stations on a double line section, i.e. when Line Clear cannot be obtained by
any one of the following means stated in order of preference viz :
a.
Block instruments; Track circuits or Axle counters;
b.
Telephones attached to the Block Instruments;
c.
Station to station fixed telephones wherever available;
d.
Fixed telephone such as Railway auto phones & BSNL / MTNL phones;
e.
Control Telephone;
f.
VHF sets under special instructions, but not as the sole means of communication
on sections where passenger trains run.
