1. लोको पायलट तुरन्त मार्कर लाईट जला देगा और लगातार सीटी बजाएगा।
2. ब्रॉड गेज पर ऐसे समय गाड़ी की अधिकतम गति 40 kmph या उस सेक्शन मे लागू गति प्रतिवन्ध जो भी कम हो वह रहेगी।
3. नैरो गेज पर ऐसे समय गाड़ी की अधिकतम गति 15 kmph या उस सेक्शन मे लागू गति प्रतिबन्ध जो भी कम हो वह रहेगी।
4. अगले स्टेशन पर लोको पायलट स्टेशन मास्टर को हेड लाईट खराब होने की जानकारी देगा तथा स्टेशन मास्टर इस बात को नियंत्रक को बतायेगा।
Loco pilot's duty in case of head light failure
1. The Loco Pilot will immediately light the marker
light and blow the whistle continuously.
2. On broad gauge, the maximum speed of the train
at such time will be 40 kmph or the speed restriction applicable in that
section, whichever is less.
3. On narrow gauge, the maximum speed of the train
at such time will be 15 kmph or the speed restriction applicable in that
section, whichever is less.
4. At the next station, the Loco Pilot will inform the Station Manager about the headlight failure and the Station Manager will inform this to the Section controller.
